Assessment of Post–Covid E-Learning Quality Standards in Jordanian Public and Private Universities

Abstract
|
Background/Purpose. The study sought to assess the quality standards of post-COVID e-learning in Jordanian public and private universities. Materials/Methods. The study sample was randomly selected and comprised 452 faculty members across four public and five private universities. The descriptive survey method was used, and data were collected through a questionnaire. Results. The study found that the level of assessment of COVID e-learning quality standards in Jordanian public and private universities is high. The standards ranked as follows: Regulatory and Legal Compliance (first place), Technology (second place), Instructional Design and Course Development (third place), Evaluation (fourth place), Delivery (fifth place), Financial (seventh place), Instruction and Instructor (eighth place), and Student Services (ninth place). |
Conclusion. Based on the study's findings, recommendations were made to consider the quality standards of e-learning in public and private Jordanian universities, with a particular focus on the standards that received average scores for improvement.
